We collect the following types of information when you use Scent Dialect:
Email address: Collected voluntarily when you submit the email gate form to receive your quiz results. We use this to deliver your results and send occasional updates about Scent Dialect.
Quiz responses: Your answers to quiz questions are processed locally in your browser to generate your results. We do not store individual quiz responses on our servers.
Payment information: Payments are processed entirely through PayPal. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card details.
Your email address is used to: (a) deliver your quiz results, (b) send you updates about new features and content from Scent Dialect, and (c) respond to any support inquiries you submit.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
By providing your email address, you consent to receive transactional emails (your results) and occasional marketing communications from Scent Dialect. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every email.
Scent Dialect uses browser sessionStorage and localStorage to temporarily store your quiz results during your session. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. It is cleared when you close your browser or clear your browser data.
We use the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
EmailJS — used to send your results to your email address. See EmailJS Privacy Policy.
PayPal — used to process payments for the full report. See PayPal Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts — used to load typography. See Google Privacy Policy.
We retain your email address in our mailing list until you unsubscribe. You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing us at hello@thescentdialect.com.

Scent Dialect is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
